A spectral collaboration between Painted Lady Bed & Brew and Nuckolls Brewing, The Signal-Man is an Extra Special Bitter summoned from the shadowy depths of the unknown. Inspired by Charles Dickens’ chilling ghost story of the same name, this ale is a warning in a glass—subtle, persistent, and impossible to ignore. Pouring a deep, haunted amber with a ghostly lace, it carries aromas of toasted bread crust, caramelized sugar, and the distant whisper of English hops. Earthy bitterness lingers just beneath the surface, like an unseen presence watching from the dark. Every pint is a signal… but from whom? And what lies ahead? Drink carefully. Some messages aren’t meant for the living.

A spectral collaboration between Painted Lady Bed & Brew and Nuckolls Brewing. Step aboard the ghost train. This otherworldly gose is inspired by the legendary Zanetti, the phantom locomotive said to vanish into thin air, never to return. Brewed with rosemary hand-harvested from the storied grounds of Painted Lady Bed & Brew, this tart and salty ale opens with ripe summer peach and a whisper of herbal depth. But don’t get too comfortable—there’s a final passenger on board: the ghost pepper. It creeps in slowly, a spectral heat that lingers like a chill down your spine.
Zanetti Gose is a tribute to the unexplained, the lost, and the brave souls who board the ride anyway.
